Diary of a Tree Peony

This is my Marchioness Tree Peony. I recently purchased it and a couple of weeks ago the flowers bloomed. It is meant to have mauve-rose flowers with maroon flares which age to a light peach (pictured below). However mine is yellow, this might be a result of the climate or the young age of the plant. Anyhow, I think the yellow colour of this flower is rather spectacular.

What do you have blooming in your garden at the moment?

  1. wow, great photos. We've got a tonne of natives flowering at the moment. My hippeastrums which were my late Grandma's are still flowering. I always think of her when they do :)
