Essence 'Me & My Ice Cream' Collection

 

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream! Today at Priceline (AU) I came across the latest trend edition ‘Me & My Ice Cream’ by Essence and I just couldn’t resist! I was drawn to the pastel colours and retro-look of the product range, I mean how gorgeous does the packaging and the products look?!

The range is full of soft sorbet pastel shades, perfect for spring and  includes nail polishes, nail stickers, eye shadows, lip balms, creamy blush, shimmer pearls and hand wipes (obviously to wipe those sticky fingers after eating a delicious ice-cream).

 The Products

Baked eye shadow ($4.95)

The long lasting, baked eye shadows in soft caramel, apricot and mint have a creamy texture and a cool marble effect to conjure-up a summery eye make-up style with a light shimmer. Available in 01 cone head, 02 icylicious and 03 always in my mint.

Lip balm ($3.50)

Available in three different colour combinations: lavender-vanilla, apricot-beige and pink-mint. The colours blend perfectly upon application. They pamper your lips with Shea butter and jojoba oil as well as leaving behind a delicious fragrance. Available in 01 ice, ice baby, 02 icylicious and 03 ben & cherries.

Cream blush ($4.95)

     This blush with a creamy formula and innovative curvature feels creamy and powdery at the same time. The intensive apricot shade offers a naturally beautiful, fresh complexion. Available in 01 ice bomb.

Shimmer pearls ($5.75)

The softly shimmering pearls with a light colour dispersion are perfectly aligned with the pastel shades of this trend edition. They give your face and neckline a subtle glow. Available in 01 i-cy u.

 

 Nail polish ($2.95)

My top picks: I love the blush; I think the peachy shade is rather flattering. I also really like the shimmer pearls, they have a subtle fruity scent and it’s not too shimmery compared to other illuminators I’ve tried. I can’t wait to try the nail stickers, they are caviar nail beads stuck to a clear sticker. I think they’ll last longer than a normal caviar manicure and less time consuming to do. I think there is something for everyone in this pretty collection but why not try everything as the prices are so affordable…
