Lust Have It! August 2013

I received my Lust Have It Box on Thursday and haven’t had a chance to write my blog post until now.  This month’s theme is Celebration, as its Lust Have Its 2nd birthday! Happy Birthday LHI…

Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights Face Illuminator RRP $29.95 for 30ml Received full sized product
This is a lightweight liquid illuminator that brightens skin, boosts natural illuminosity, minimises flaws and enhances skin with a hint of colour. I think you use it under, above or with foundation. Looking forward to trying this. What a great full-sized product to receive.

KMS California Free Shape Shampoo RRP $28.95 for 300ml Received a 12ml sample
This shampoo is meant to prepare your hair for heat styling. I don’t mind receiving sachet shampoo samples but I would love the sample conditioner as well. I don’t think there is any point of trying one without the other!

KMS California Free Shape Hot Flex Spray RRP $31.95 for 200ml Received a 30ml sample

Offers a flexible and elastic hold that allows your hair style to last until the next wash. It also protects your hair from heat styling damage. This is a generous sample size although I don’t think this product is for me. The other option was the KMS volumising spray, I would have loved to of tried that.

SINFULCOLORS Nail Enamel in #323 Feeling Great RRP $4.95 for 15ml Received full sized product
Sinful Colors are said to be long wearing and chip-resistant (but nothing is chip-resistant on me!) I like trying nail polish and surprisingly I have never used Sinful Colours, so it will be great to try. The colour I received is a bright pink/rose crème, which I think will be a very pretty summer colour.

LUSH Skin’s Shangri La RRP $54.95 for 45g Received a 10g sample pot
This is said to be a supreme moisturiser for dry skin. I have tried this and I have to say I really like it. I have combination skin that does need a good ‘drink’ in winter. I would apply this rich cream of a night so your skin feels hydrated in the morning (a bit oily for day use).

La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water RRP $21.95 for 300ml Received 50ml sample
Excited to see this in the box, it apparently has a multitude of uses and benefits including; freshening, softening and soothing skin, reducing redness, protecting skin, can be used as a toner or throughout the day to refresh skin. Another generous sample size which I look forward to using.

La Roche Posay Lipikar Balm RRP $37.95 for 400ml Received 15ml sample
I think this product is used for skin irritations such as eczema and really dry skin. It’s fragrance and paraben free and apparently it breaks the scratching cycle. I don’t think I’ll have a need to use this but it looks great for people that do, it’s such a good brand.

Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup RRP $25.95 for 30ml Received 4 sample swatches in different colours

For some reason I forgot to take a photo of this! The 4 different toned samples are just a one off application featured on a Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup information card. I like this idea as it can help you find your shade.

Overall, I’m happy with this box. It has a good range of products and receiving a full-sized Revlon product is fantastic. I give this box 4 out of 5… I think the boxes we’ve been receiving the last couple of months have been full of excellent products and are great value. Keep up the good work Lust Have It!
Have you tried any of these products? What did you get in your box?

    1. Hi Jac,

I like the 'bare light' colour that I received. It certainly does give a natural tint to your face, it's very pretty.

However, I'm still not sure it I like the shimmery look :S It seems to brighten my face up but after awhile I just think it makes my skin look a tad oily. Some people can use shimmer but others can't... I'm still so pleased that we received this to try though!
Pity you got the pink one as I bet you would have liked the 'bare light' more! :)

      Thanks for your comment :)
