Day 18: Amazing Gracie
I absolutely love this
shade. It’s a perfect pale, ballerina pink. It is a sheer polish so if you want
an opaque finish you’ll have to do 3-4 coats. Fairly easy to apply, it can get
a little patchy but just be careful. Such a fresh, pretty polish that I believe
would suit anyone. On the Ciate website they say it’s “a polish so pretty it was named after Ciaté founder Charlotte Knight’s
young daughter Gracie”.
Day 19: Underwear
“This enhanced formulae gives the perfect strengthening basecoat to your
manicure giving a lasting finish whilst preventing staining and nurturing the
nail bed”. An easy to apply, fast drying basecoat. Hmmm it would have been
great if this was at the beginning of ‘Mini Mani Month’.
Day 20: Ivory queen
This is a flawless nude
colour with a hint of gold toned shimmer. Very pretty for everyday nails. Again
like most of the polishes in this advent calendar, it was super easy to apply.
Day 21: Confetti
Ciate describe this as “an explosion of holographic microglitters”.
It really is! I applied this over the top of ‘day 20’ Ivory Queen, and I think
it has become one of my favourite combinations. It created a very sweet
manicure, not over the top, just perfect. I only used one coat of ‘confetti’
and it was plenty of glitter. The pictures don’t do it justice, way prettier in
person!
