How sweet are these ‘Sugar nail’ kits by ModelsPrefer! I
purchased these a few weeks ago from Priceline (Aus.) and thought I’d share
them with you…
The kits include everything you need to do a ‘caviar
nail’ manicure. They come with nail polish, nail beads, funnel, a plastic try
to catch the excess beads and instructions- All for only $10.00!
Here’s a little step by step tutorial on how to achieve
this look:
1. Apply
a thin coat of polish to each nail and allow to dry.
2. Apply
a second coat of polish to one fingernail at a time and sprinkle the beads onto
your fingernail while the polish is still wet. (Use the plastic tray to collect
excess beads).
3. Press
gently on the nail to secure the beads. Leave to dry for 15 minutes.
4. Use
the funnel to pour excess beads back into the bottle.
How easy is that to achieve a 3D nail effect!
I think it’s such a fun and quirky look.
They don’t last long so I suggest you keep this manicure
for a special occasion- I say do it an hour before you leave- so you can get
the most out of them.
I love these kits, they make such a cute little
gift…
So pretty, they look fabulous.

I guess that's why they call them 'sugar nails' as they look like sugary hundreds and thousands, Yum! I think it's a fun look, I love them :)Thanks for your comment.

I really do like them and glad that you found that they are also a one off thing that need to be done literally just before you walk out the door! The pink one is quite pretty but I really like the black and green!
ReplyDeleteThese sugar nails are gorgeous , love the hot pink and glitter shades so glam! Hope you awesome and having a really great week . xo
ReplyDeleteI love the sugar nails! i've yet to try them, but I think it looks so fun! Is it awful to remove? I feel like you'd have to scrub at it for a while. Anyway- loving your blog, perhaps you'd enjoy mine as well and like to follow?

Hi Cassandra,
DeleteThey are a lot of fun, something a bit different! It's actually rather easy to remove... The instructions say to apply nail polish remover to a cotton pad, press it onto the nail for a few seconds and then gently wipe away!
But I find it really easy to just rub the beads off your nail(no damage) and then remove the polish with remover.
I'd love to take a look at your blog and follow :)
Thanks
Mel
