Lust Have It! September 2013

This month’s Lust Have It box theme is ‘Spring Fling’. For those of you that haven’t heard of LHI! it is a monthly beauty subscription box where you receive 5-6 samples that are valued up to $60 for a monthly payment of $19.95. If you would like more information visit the Lust Have It! website.

WOTNOT Natural Organic Facial Wipes RRP $7.95 for 25 wipes per pack Received sample size 5 wipes

“Enriched with all natural ingredients including Australian certified organic aloe vera to lubricate and repair, certified organic sweet almond oil to restore lost moisture and calm inflammation and certified organic rosehip oil for skin regeneration and moisture re-balancing.”

I love face wipes, they can be so handy. I tried one of these wipes and it removed a lot of my foundation, it was rather moisturising and left my face feeling clean and refreshed.

MARY KAY Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover RRP $22 for 110ml Received Mini Version

“Gently removes eye makeup, including waterproof mascara, without tugging or pulling delicate skin in the eye area. Formula does not leave skin feeling dry. The mini is great for travel and small enough to tuck in your handbags.”

Love receiving eye makeup removers. I never have to buy any as I have a little collection from LHI. Looking forward to trying this.

L’Oreal Nude Magique BB Cream RRP $26.95 for 30ml Received sample sachet

“A breakthrough in BB technology. Micro-pigment capsules that transform and self-adjust to match your skin tone for the perfect nude look. This 5 in 1 BB Cream not only offers a flawless ultra-light coverage but also enhances natural complexion, evens skin tone and provides your skin 24 hour hydration and SPF 12 protection.”

I’m a fan of BB creams, I think they’re great when you get up and just want some light coverage for the day. It will be good to try this one and see how it goes.

L’Oreal Base Magique Primer RRP $29.95 for 15ml Received sample size 5ml
“L’Oreal Base Magique transforming smoothing primer instantly minimises pores and creates an even surface, so that you get a more flawless make-up result that lasts.”

I really like trying out different primers and I especially can’t wait to try this one as it sounds so good.

Bioderma Sebium Foaming Gel RRP $29.95 for 500ml Received sample size
The foaming gel is “formulated with non-irritant substances, this gel cleanses gently and reduces sebum secretion whilst purifying the epidermis”

I don’t often try face wash products as I’m happy with what I use. I prefer to try once a week face scrubs or masks. However, this range looks promising and if I were to change my skin care products I would probably give this a go.

10mlBioderma Sebium AKN RRP$24.95 for 30ml Recevied sample size 5ml
The sebium AKN “preserves sebum quality, preventing deterioration and thickening, thus effectively reducing the appearance and development of imperfections”

I’m not sure if this is to be used all over your face or just to spot on imperfections? Again this sounds good if I were to change my skin care routine.

BAJI Inca Bronzing Shimmer

I can’t find any information on this product even in the ‘Lustre’ magazine where the product card directed me to. Anyway “Baji’s products do not contain harmful preservatives, paraben. SLS’s, petrochemicals which ensures your skin care remains toxin free

It’s nice to receive a full sized product. This gives a nice bronzed shimmer, not too dark which is good for me. Although I don’t use bronzing products much, maybe I’ll give it to a friend.

Lust Have It Synthetic Precision Pencil Brush RRP $15

“This synthetic precision pencil brush is perfect for cream or powder eye shadow application.”

This feels so soft, should be great to use!

Tom Organic Tampons RRP $7.99 for single pack of 16 Received sample pack of 2

“Tom’s range of feminine hygiene products are made using the purest organic cotton on earth; breathable, comfortable, hypoallergenic, Tom offers reliable, chemical free protection and peace of mind.”

Like that they’re organic but these lady things are pricey.

Well that was my LHI! box for this month. I must say for some reason I’m not overly happy with it, it's okay. There are a few products in this bunch that I'd like to try. I've seen a couple of other LHI! blog posts and they received different things, I guess it's the luck of what box you get...

  1. A lot of samples this month, though I guess that's the point isn't it hehe... my box was a little different, I got a Baji mud mask instead, and the foundation sample. I'm happy to give it all a go.. that's actually my aim at the moment, to actually USE the samples rather than just storing them away! :)

  2. That bronzing liquid looks very interesting! I'd be interested to see what other Baji products were distributed to other subscribers this month!

  4. Hya Mel, thanks for the comments you left on my blog, I do prefer the LHI Eco Box but if you want to try another monthly beauty box you could look at Bellabox for $15 per month. They are my favourite beauty box because at least they have some sort of profiling.

  6. I would be interested to hear how you go with the BB cream. I haven't found one I like yet. I'm enjoying the precision pencil brush for smudging out eyeliner for a smokey eye look. Thanks for sharing what was in your Lust Have it Box. I'm looking forward to comparing boxes next time :D sparkle2day.com
